Tour UZB 01 - Around the Ancient Towns of the Orient

ancient cities of the world - Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva. World-famous monuments of  
ancient architecture remember Alexander the Great and Genghiskan. Once this was the  
center of a vast medieval Tamerlan 's Empire. 

Tourists will remember tall, thin minarets, grandiose madras's and mosques, palaces and mausoleums decorated with incredible ceramic ornaments, noisy and colorful oriental bazaars, interesting legends, warm hospitality and ancient traditions of local inhabitants for a long time. 

Day 1. Arrival in Tashkent. Enjoy sight-seeing and visiting this old city, including the Barak- 
Khan Madrasa (XV cc.), Yunus-Khana Mausoleum, Kaffal-al-Shashi Mausoleum (XVII cc.), Kukeldash Madrasa (XVIII cc.). Museum of Applied Art, Square of Independence, Friendship Peoples Square, Metro, and the National Theater of Opera and Ballet. Overnight at a hotel. 

Day 2. Enjoy sight-seeing in Khiva including visits to the Ichan-Kala, Mohammed Amin Khan Madrasa, the Kunya Ark (XVII cc.), Pakhlavan Mahmud complex (XIV-XVIII cc.), Islam Khodja Madrasa & Minaret (1908), Jumma Mosque (X-XVIII cc.), Tash Hauli Palace (XVIII-XIX  
cc.), and the local bazaar. Overnight at a hotel. 

Day 3. Transfer to Bukhara (500 km). Overnight at a hotel. 

Ismail Samani Mausoleum (9th - 11th centeries)Day 4. Enjoy sight-seeing in Bukhara including visits to Samanid's Mausoleum (IX-X cc.), Chashma Aub Mosque, Poi-Kalan complex (XII-XVI cc.), Ulugbek Madrassah, Lyabi-Hauz complex (XVI-XVII cc.), Sitorai Mokhi (XIX cc.), Khosa summer palace, Bolo Hauz, and the Ark Fortress. Overnight at a hotel. 

Day 5. Transfer to Samarkand (300 km). Overnight at a hotel. 

RegistanDay 6. Enjoy sight-seeing in Samarkand including visiting the Guri-Emir Mausoleum (XV cc.), Registan Square (XVII cc.), Bibi-Khanum Cathedral Mosque (XV cc.), Ulugbek Observatory (XV cc.), 
Shakhi-Zinda Mausoleums ensemble, Al-Bukhari complex, and local bazaars. Overnight at a hotel. 

Day 7. Transfer to Tashkent (300 km). Overnight at a hotel. 

Day 8. Depart home. 

The base program is enough to know history and culture of Uzbekistan. We offer short extensions to add to the base program for you to find out more about the traditions, peoples and culture of Central Asia and see some unique nature. You can make any program from these blocks, taking into consideration the specialty, traditions and requirements of your agency. Summing up separate blocks of the program (refer to enclosure), you'll be able to determine the price of the program you need.
