| Day 1. Transfer from Bukhara (Samarkand) to
Termez (390 km). The road goes via Guzar and Sherabad along a big Uzbek
highway. On this day you will see the gigantic one thousand year old chinar
(platan) and medical mineral springs in the settlement of Sairob. Upon
arrival you will check into the hotel.
Day 2. Sight-seeing includes visiting the necropolis of the founder of the Dervish order Khakimi (Saint Khakimi Thermezi of the 9th century), a Buddhist monastery complex of Kara Tepe and Mausoleum Fayaz Tepe, and the necropolis of the dynasty of the Thermez rulers, Sultan-Saodat. Day 3. Transfer to Samarkand (390 km). Lunch in Shahrisabz.
